FAQ:
1. I want to create a holder/cook/healer/etc. Is that okay?
Absolutely! Here at D'Sanctine, you don't have to play a dragonrider. If you're interested in a position or playing a character as simple as a drudge, that's okay! We are more than open to characters that will keep the Weyr running smoothly.
2. Can I play the MasterHarper/Healer/Fisher/etc?
Chances are, we're going to say no. On the off chance that these characters are needed for the plot of the Weyr, they will likely be NPC'd. However, your character can reach Master rank in their craft, just as they can reach Journeyman!
3. Can my character be blind/deaf/etc?
Sure! We just ask that you educate yourself on the disability and know enough about it to play it right. Also, no dragon is going to Impress a severely crippled character; candidates must be of acceptable physical health.
4. Can my character hear and speak to all dragons?
This will be judged on a case-by-case basis, and chances are we will only accept this for goldriders. As it is rare in the books, so too will it be here.
5. Can my character have increased telepathic abilities?
No, we're all just normal humans here. To telekinetic abilities, please.
Guide:
Please refrain from the following in your character application:
-Modern items and technology such as guns
-Religion
-Mentions of AIVAS or timing it
-Relations to characters in the books
-Mary Sues/Gary Stues/etc
