You may have noticed that yes, we do have a monetary system in place here at D'Sanctine. You may also now be wondering, just how exactly do you earn your own marks to spend? Well, here's how!
Wages!
That's right! Every member of D'Sanctine earns marks every day just for being here. Consider it an allowance of sorts. The amount you earn per day depends on how many posts your account has made, and the marks go right into your wallet, which can be viewed by visiting the bank! You can also store your marks in the bank, but you don't gain interest, so what's the point?
How much do you earn per day, you ask? Good question!

That's right! Every member of D'Sanctine earns marks every day just for being here. Consider it an allowance of sorts. The amount you earn per day depends on how many posts your account has made, and the marks go right into your wallet, which can be viewed by visiting the bank! As you can see, based on post count, you can earn up to 10 extra marks per day! And that's not counting what you can earn daily from your IC job!
Posting!
Outside of wages and earned marks per number of posts, you earn marks for posting in RP forums, too! Creating a character will earn you 50 marks. Creating a new thread in any of the Weyr areas earns you 10 marks. All replies earn you 1 mark per post! This is a hopeful incentive to keep people active and seeking RP! Note that you do not earn marks for posts in OOC areas unless they add to your total number of posts and you hit a new tier!
Selling!
That's right! You can earn marks by selling items in the Gather Stalls section of this forum. You can set up your own shop for avatars, art, short stories--whatever you like, as long as you created it! You can set your prices, and when other members buy those items, you get the money for it! Thanks to the donation and trade functions, you can send money to any other member!
Donations!
You can also earn money by people gifting or donating it to you! Isn't that awesome?
Bonuses?
Well, sure, we don't have any bonuses in place yet (or do we? ooo) but there's always a possibility! We're always looking for more ways to help our members stuff their wallets!
